Korean American Hate Crime Hotline
Amid the rise of attacks on Asian Americans, KAAGNY has launched a hotline for Korean Americans to report hate crimes, harassment, and racially-motivated attacks and incidents.
Both first-hand experiences and witness accounts may be reported through the hotline. Incidents may be reported by phone (212-255-6969), email (office@nykorean.org), or through the KAAGNY website.
Hotline hours: Monday ~ Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM
COVID-19 Share the Love Food Relief Campaign
KAAGNY has launched the ‘Share the Love Food Relief Campaign’ to assist marginalized low-income Korean American families who are experiencing food insecurity during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Due to continuing generous donations, we have raised over $1.2 million to date and every dollar up to $500,000 will be matched in terms of food purchase value by H-Mart. Through the Campaign, KAAGNY is providing a family of up to 2 persons with a $100 food voucher and a family of more than two persons with a $200 food voucher monthly for a period of five months.
KAAGNY has opened a separate account for the Campaign and 100 percent of funds received into the account will be used to purchase food vouchers for distribution to the families in need.
