KAAGNY Hosts Town Hall with NYC Mayoral Candidates and the Korean American Community

On June 17, KAAGNY hosted a virtual Town Hall with three of the candidates running for Mayor in New York City.

Event attendees were joined by mayoral candidates Andrew Yang, Scott Stringer, and Art Chang, who addressed key issues raised by various Korean American community organizations. The questions, which were contributed by community leaders who work directly with the Korean community, concerned immigrants' rights, small business recovery, education, and non-profit budget allocation for the Asian American community.

English-to-Korean interpretation was made available during the Town Hall.
